I want to tap into the wisdom of the collective here. I saw this item on eBay and after stalking it for a while sent an offer that was accepted. The previous owner bought it at an RR Auction. I love the look, and even without more info I'm comfortable with what I paid for it, but I would like to find out more if possible.

It was listed as an "Apollo Leak Calibrator" on RR. According to the auction listing is was "used to measure the leakage detectors of the pressurized system in the Command Module."

I would love to find some primary source information about it rather than just an auction listing. Any suggestions of places to look, or information you may have would be welcome!

A former North American Aviation employee on Facebook identified that "S & ID" stands for the Space and Information Division of NAA at Downey, which lines up with the RR listing info. The employee said the "A" in the model number means it was "Auxiliary" ground support equipment.

Thoughts?
