I found some good drawings for the front of the Mercury capsule instrument panels.

Now I'm after drawings of the back of the instrument panel, which I assume would be more or less the same for all missions. In particular the structure (ribs) as well as a the rear of the instrumentation.

I noticed that in the Haynes Mercury Owners' Workshop Manual there are a few small drawings of the structure behind the panels. These images are attributed to McDonnell. But I can't seem to find any larger images or anything else that details the back of the panels.

Any ideas? I have the familiarisation manual and the 1962 maintenance manual, but can't see anything in them on this.

You might want to reach out to the Kansas Cosmosphere and see if they have any information or drawings of the back of the instrument panel. I would bet that they do, since they likely referenced them when they reconstructed the interior of Liberty Bell 7.
