Are there any close-up images of the Glycine airman watch Pete Conrad wore on Gemini 5, 11, and Apollo 12?

I've seen the images from the Gemini 5 recovery showing Conrad with Gordon Cooper on the deck of the carrier, but most of the images are blurry at best. I'd like to find pictures of the actual watch, model and reference number.

I never noticed Conrad wearing the Glycine Airman wristwatch on Apollo 12!

I believe you may be right about Apollo 12, but he definitely wore a different, second timepiece besides the Speedmaster.

Check out the image of Conrad and Cooper in the white room prior to entering the Gemini 5 spacecraft, and two recovery photos of Conrad and Gordon after Gemini 11.

You may have seen this blog already in the course of your research, but if not, it's a pretty comprehensive photo documentation of Conrad's Glycine. No information on the exact model, etc.

Some additional information on the movement can be found here.

1960's were the most successful years for Glycine with the Airman military dials and 12-hour dials. The Airman watches switched to A.Schild movements (caliber 1700 and then 1903) with crosshatch crown and compressor snap-back case.
And from here:
1960-67 Airmen are casing A.Schild 1700/01 movement.Airman 'Special' 17 Jewels, Airman 25 Jewels. The price of the Airman Special at this time is USD 79,20 for AOPA members and USD 88,00 for non-members. Airman with 25 Jewels is retailed for USD 96,80 for AOPA members, USD 121,00 for non-members. (AOPA is the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association.)
This last site has a wealth of information, photos, and old ads that might help to match the model.

Nope - what you see Cooper wearing there is a Bulova Accutron Astronaut which by the way was the first battery powered watch in space!

All times are CT (US)
