Picked this up at auction. I am told that it is part of the Apollo power and servo assembly (PSA) unit. The optics module is about same size as those in the PSA tray and is encased in the same hardened, blackened resin potting material.

Wonder what's inside? Can anyone provide any insight to its construction and its function? Be interesting to get this X-rayed. All help appreciated!
