Adrift is an arts project by artists Cath Le Couteur and Nick Ryan.
The project explores the secret world of space junk, making it personal, visible and audible. The project takes the form of an interactive experience (Adopt), a documentary film (Watch) and a sound installation (Listen).
  • WATCH: A short documentary which explores the troubling, beautiful, dangerous and fascinating world of space junk.

  • ADOPT: Follow these pieces of space junk on Twitter to adopt them. They will communicate with you live from space.

  • LISTEN: 'Machine 9' is a handcrafted electromechanical sound instrument that tracks the positions of 27,000 pieces of space junk, transforming them into sound, in real time, as they pass overhead.

All times are CT (US)
