Many years ago a friend of mine received stickers from ESA which are said to be flown on STS-61-A Space Shuttle Challenger mission. There is no additional confirmation or certificate for being flown with shuttle.

Does anybody of you know details? Do you think they might be flown?

Yes this did fly in space. I have one identical and I have the ESA letter accompanying it, from the D1 Project manager, listing the items flown. This is one out of 200 mylar D1 emblems.

I'll scan the letter and email it to you. Nice to see another one! Cheers.

On closer inspection, the names appear in a different order and mine has an ESA logo below the German flag. Is yours mylar?

All times are CT (US)
