As was earlier reported, Nate D Sanders auction house is currently assisting the estate of Apollo 13 astronaut Jack Swigert divest of his space memorabilia. In doing so, they have come across an item they are unable to identify.

Does anyone recognize these rubber rings for what they are? They measure approximately 4.25 inches round.

I checked with the Smithsonian's curators regarding that suspicion, but apparently the rubber rings do not match anything associated with the gloves.
