On launch day, at the completion of their training, Blue Origin New Shepard passengers take part in a ceremony with "Crewmember 7," one of two Blue Origin team members who are assigned to the crew to guide them through their flight preparations.

The ceremony concludes with Crewmember 7 presenting the soon-to-be-astronauts with a challenge coin to fly on their mission that reads:

You will be known in history for taking a pioneering first step towards millions of people living and working in space to benefit Earth. Gradatim Ferociter.

Presented by Crewmember 7 for spaceflight on New Shepard.
