Yet another U.S. Mint space themed product in 2019...
Rocketship 2019

Introduce your son, daughter, niece, nephew, or other special child in your life to the world of coin collecting with our cool new United States Mint Rocketship. It comes with two special coins included — a 2019 Kennedy Half Dollar with an uncirculated finish and a Native American $1 Coin honoring American Indians in the Space Program with a proof finish.

Two of our Mighty Minters, Timothy and Layla, will help kids ages 7 to 12 as they "blast off" into the exciting world of coin collecting. To activate the glow-in-the-dark feature, place Rocketship in direct sunlight for about five minutes. Then take it into a dark room and watch it glow.

The Native American $1 Coin has a reverse (tails side) design featuring Mary Golda Ross, the first known Native American female engineer (1908-2008), writing calculations, with an equation inscribed in its cloud. An astronaut, symbolic of Native American astronauts, including John Herrington, spacewalks above. In the field behind, a group of stars indicates outer space. Inscriptions are "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and "$1."

The Kennedy half dollars feature the original 1964 obverse (heads) design with the image of President John F. Kennedy. The design inscriptions on the obverse are "LIBERTY," "IN GOD WE TRUST," and "2019." The reverse (tails) design is based on the Presidential Coat of Arms. Inscriptions are "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "E PLURIBUS UNUM," and "HALF DOLLAR."

All times are CT (US)
