Timex offers NASA Artemis-inspired and astronaut Snoopy watches

September 16, 2025

— The first beagle on the moon and the space program launching the next astronauts there are on the face of new watches from Timex.

The American timepiece company on Tuesday (Sept. 16) launched the Timex X Peanuts Space and NASA-Inspired collections. The separate but related releases celebrate humanity's "leap into the cosmos."

"As NASA prepares to send the first crewed mission beyond the moon on Artemis II, Timex is honoring this bold step into the unknown with a special collection as a tribute to human ingenuity, past and future, featuring both analog and digital offerings in energizing colorways," the watchmaker describes on its website.

The 10-day Artemis II mission, which NASA is targeting for launch no later than April 2026, will see commander Reid Wiseman, pilot Victor Glover and mission specialists Christina Koch and Jeremy Hansen possibly travel farther away from Earth than any humans before. Their mission will mark the first crewed flight to return astronauts to the vicinity of the moon in more than 50 years.

The new NASA-inspired collection is based on Timex's Main Street model, with either its large (40mm) white face with black hands or 36mm digital display with day and date functions, alarm, timer and backlight.

The analog Main Street features a black bezel with either a NASA-blue or spacesuit orange resin strap. Both watches display the Artemis logo at the 12 o'clock position and NASA "worm" logotype above the six.

The two digital Main Street offerings have either a white or orange bezel with a matching strap. The NASA "meatball" insignia adorns the black lens.

All four models in the NASA-Inspired collection retail for $75 each, with the analog watches available now and digital versions coming soon.

Timex has also returned to its collaboration with Peanuts Worldwide to further celebrate space exploration with NASA's official mascots. The three watches in the Timex X Peanuts Space Collection feature a combination of Charles Schulz' comic strip characters dressed in orange Artemis-style pressure suits.

On the Marlin Hand-Wound model, the sweep second hand allows Snoopy to float around the graphic dial, which features Charlie Brown on a spacewalk tethered to a truss. The $349 watch has a 34mm polished recycled stainless-steel case, a smooth-grain black vegan leather strap scattered with stars, luminant hands and a domed acrylic crystal.

The Marlin Automatic timepiece moves the action inside the space station with Charlie Brown, Peppermint Patty and Franklin circling the face and Snoopy and Lucy in the background. This $329 model features a 40mm polished recycled stainless-steel case with an exhibition case back, smooth grain eco-friendly black leather strap, date window, luminant hands and domed acrylic crystal.

Coming soon, the retro-style T80 wristwatch displays Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Lucy, Linus and Sally on on the dark grey lens of its 34mm polished silver-tone case. Franklin, Peppermint Patty and Woodstock join the other characters on the black resin strap. The $129 digital model includes chronograph, daily alarm and timer functions.

Timex's history with NASA includes having its Ironman and Datalink models certified for use on space shuttle missions and producing custom watches for the members of NASA's astronaut corps. The company previously offered NASA and Peanuts Space collections in 2019, around the time of the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing mission.
