STS-101, launched May 19, 2000, was the 98th launch of the Space Shuttle (the 21st for orbiter Atlantis) and the fourth International Space Station assembly mission. This flight also marked the first use of the orbiter's new glass cockpit ~~ 11 new full-color, flat-panel display screens replacing 32 gauges and electromechanical displays and four cathode-ray tube displays.

The attached segment of 'Mach 25' tape was used by the STS-101 crew to complete many of their tasks on orbit. This sample and its certificate was presented to a Boeing employee for assisting with upgrading Atlantis for flight.
