Orlan EVA Spacesuit Glove

A right-hand glove from an Orlan-DM (Orlan: Bald Eagle) EVA spacesuit complete with outer thermal-insulated nylon canvas, pebbled rubber palm and finger pads, rounded blue rubber fingertips, two Velcro-close flaps above knuckles, applied patch of printed table of pressure levels and coordinating minutes, and serial number GP-8K-11-0200080 printed on inner sleeve. The glove is soiled and finger pads worn, consistent with use in training.

The pressure table shows that in a standard operation mode with an initial pressure of 400 atmospheres, the cosmonaut could spend more than five hours in open space. When the emergency mode is activated (i.e., in case of depressurization), the available time drops to 24 minutes. If the pressure in the oxygen tank were 50 atmospheres at the time of depressurization, the cosmonaut would have little more than three viable minutes.
