The attached are fragments from five Cape Canaveral Air Station complexes where early U.S. missions (including Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo) launched:

  • Complex 5 - launch site of the sub-orbital Mercury flights, the attached is metal cut from the gantry

  • Complex 14 - launch site of the orbital Mercury flights, the attached was cut from the cableway that ran up the side of the tower to the ready room

  • Complex 19 - launch site of the Gemini flights, the attached is linoleum used to line the white room

  • Complex 26 - launch site of America's first satellite Explorer I, the attached is a piece of the gantry

  • Complex 34 - location of the AS-204 (Apollo 1) fire as well as the launch site of Apollo 7, the attached is a piece of the launch pedestal
