Launched May 18, 1969, Apollo 10 was the final rehearsal for a manned landing, testing both the Command and Service Module "Charlie Brown" and Lunar Module "Snoopy" in orbit about the Moon.

The attached is a section of coldplate shielding used to keep the Apollo 10 command module's computers and other critical components cool during the eight day flight. Removed afterwards for testing, it later became part of the Mascoutah Aerospace Museum's collection.
