Yandex just released the second edition of their "Domestic Landings" book, an excellent overview with superb photos of all Soviet-Russian landings an recoveries since 1961. The first edition had 528 pages, this 2nd edition has 656 pages!From Orbit to Earth: A Chronicle of Russian Manned Spacecraft Landings by Yu. M. Zheltonogin, N.P. Rusakov and A. Yu. Lazarenko The publication is a chronological information-visual series of 151 landings of manned spacecraft of the Soviet Union and Russia, starting from Vostok and ending with Soyuz MS-16, made in 1961–2020. It describes the principles of search and rescue support for Soyuz spacecraft flights, gives a brief history of the aerospace search and rescue service, indicates the participation of specialists in the medical support of search and rescue operations in the landing areas of space crews and specifics of the work of specialists at the landing site. It provides brief information about the crews of spaceships, landing sites and circumstances related to the search and evacuation of astronauts. The illustrations are served by a large number of photographs and crew emblems taken from a variety of sources for each landing separately. - Hardcover, 656 pages
