An Engineer's Space Race Stories and More: Never Before Revealed Behind the Scenes Stories During the Space Race from IBM by Robert (Bob) Munroe

He describes stories not documented elsewhere about how little was known about materials for out first astronomical satellite in 1964, the rush and risks taken during the race to the moon with the Russians, the drive to save weight in space designs, some unknown uses of Gemini computers, debate on IBM's design for the Saturn V guidance computer, and how IBM helped another computer company participate in the Apollo program.

The conflicts between aiding NASA and skirting the Department of Justice on anti-trust concerns are told.
