I have recently completed a 22-minute video that describes in detail the three communications antennas of the Viking '75 Mars lander.
The video features a long-term work-in-progress 3D digital high fidelity model of the lander that I have been creating for a number of years. The model is still many years away from being completed (as a hobby project in my spare time). My YouTube channel has a few other videos on different aspects of the Viking lander.

Thank you Tom for the many hours it must have taken to translate, interpret and compose this laydown of the Viking lander's communications architecture. Looking forward to subsequent presentations describing other vehicle subsystems if you do decide to tackle those.
