Whilst getting stuck in the proverbial internet "rabbit hole" last night, I did find this truly fantastic 1972 Commonwealth Club of California 48-minute panel with John Young, Charlie Duke and Ken Mattingly.
Three Apollo 16 astronauts share their stories about the mission. Training and practical benefits of the space program are among their topics.
One of the best listens I've had for a while.

Thanks! Enjoyed that very much. A real treat to listen to those three. Never had the pleasure of listening to John Young in person and there are not that many good interviews with him so this is a great find!
It is a sign of the times though that about a third of the time, or so it seems, they feel compelled to apologize for the cost of the flight.
