For those who are interested, the "Steel Impact" episode of the Smithsonian Channel's Air Disasters covers the 1991 crash of Atlantic Southeast Airlines Flight 2311. This is the crash that killed astronaut Sonny Carter (along with former US Senator John Tower.
Astronaut Fred Gregory also makes a brief interview appearance to talk about his friendship with Sonny Carter.
If you have access to the Smithsonian Channel, episodes are regularly repeated.

On the Smithsonian Channel's series Air Disasters (the Canadian series "Mayday") on Sunday, March 10, 2019 will premiere an episode about the SpaceShipTwo tragedy.
If you haven't seen any of the previous episodes, the series takes a look at air disasters. They normally dramatize the disaster itself using interviews of survivors/first responders and then dramatize the investigation to determine the cause, as well as the investigative dead ends along the way.
