An excellent cartoonist is Jeff Parker at Florida Today. His space-related cartoons are on-the-spot, and addresses present situations.

What I want to see is a collection, maybe a book with all cartoons related to space. Has anyone made a compilation of his space-related editorial cartoons?

I'd love to see a book about space cartoons. The ones by Paul Rigby in Tracking Apollo To The Moon (by Hamish Lindsay, Springer, 2001) are so funny!

Alas, I'm sure there would be copyright issues for such a book.

One of my favourite space cartoons is from the time of Apollo 10. Snoopy, complete with bubble-helmet, is stretched out on the top of LM-4 which rests on the Moon beside a flag bearing the name "Snoopyville." An irate voice from the orbiting Charlie Brown (wouldn't that be John Young?) radios: "Darn it, Snoopy, the flight plan specifically states that..."

I stumbled upon a website once that featured a large collection of space cartoons on it. It was far from comprehensive but still very interesting. I don't remember what it was called and haven't seen it in 2 or 3 years. It may still be out there in cyberspace.
