I was in my high school library and found this book, "The Mathematics of Space Exploration." It is by Myrl H. Ahrendt. It is from 1964, I looked at the check out card and it hasn't been checked out since 1975.

It is basically a book about rocket science, starting with basic physics and going into tracking spacecraft. It's funny to see this "learning how to maneuver two craft so that they meet and join in space represents one of the technical problems on which space scientist are now working."

So I went to check it out and the check out card thing fell off so the librarian let me keep it.

All times are CT (US)
