Does anyone know of an on-line repository that contains a good selection of high-resolution on-board shuttle images (kind of like ApolloArchives.com). Especially interested in the earlier flights...

Just about all of NASA's online photo collections, low and high resolution, can be searched at NASA Images.

It can be a hit and miss though, when it comes to early space shuttle imagery.

Your best resource is not online but on CD through Retro Space Images. Their archives are beyond compare when it comes to available image depositories.
