Since the Apollo 1 sets should be arriving now, I'll mention something that is not in the chapter booklet but is an interesting inclusion in the set.

At the end of the photo slideshow "without captions" there is a frame which will run with audio (no footage or photos) that contains a one hour and 48 minute recording of the Borman team's inspection of the spacecraft on January 29th. While there are long stretches where switch positions are read off the control console, there are also very interesting comments from all the team members on the state of the spacecraft. We use portions of this audio in other locations on the disc, but wanted to let you know of the inclusion of the entire audio at the end of this slideshow. The only way to get to it is to cycle through the "without captions" slideshow.

Best,
Mark

Well, yes, I suppose it is.

I didn't really want to call it that, since it is Apollo 1. Somehow that would have been unseemly to announce an easter egg on the Apollo 1 set!
