I recently purchased the "Gemini: Steps to the Moon" by David Shayler in the Praxis series, and found more details of the missions that I hadn't realized before. This one has been the most satisfying book I've read on Gemini, and I think I've read all of them except Gus Grissom's book. It was similar in a way to when I first read Chaikin's Man on the Moon book - I had numerous enjoyable moments where he revealed details of the men and missions I'd not heard of previously.

Recommend getting this book along with the Spacecraft films 3DVD set for Gemini if you are searching for more info on this part of spaceflight history. Dry at times, but far more readable than the Gemini Chronology NASA book!

I'll second that. Shayler's book is an excellent, entertaining read that really brings the Gemini program to life.
