... I have been shopping in those stores where everything costs only 99 cents. They have some great old science fiction movies on DVD to snap up. I was in one yesterday, and they had brand new video copies of the great Apollo 11 movie "The Dish" - and for 99c, hard to beat the price! I am not sure if all store locations will have them, but here is their website: http://www.99only.com/ |

Hey Francis,There's no shame in saving money, be proud that you're a good shopper and I'm in their stores once a week. They've got some great stuff. The best deal they offer is a nationwide calling card that you can call anywhere in the USA for .01 penny a minute and there's no restrictions. I'm always sending them to friends & family across the US so they don't throw their money away. My phone bills were $3-400 a month calling customers, sometimes more, now by phone bills are $40-50 a month. |

As a former employee of the Dollar Tree chain (If I had a time for every time I heard "How much does this cost?"), I should note that I've also found some deals there as well. I bought up a bunch of copies of Kraft's "Flight" there a while back, and just yesterday found the audiobook version of John Glenn's memoir.------------------ http://allthese worlds.hatbag.net/space.php "America's challenge of today has forged man's destiny of tomorrow." - Commander Eugene Cernan, Apollo 17 Mission, 11 December 1972 |

I have also found 4 old National Geographic magazines in excellent condition dealing with the first space shuttle and skylab, all for $0.25 each. [This message has been edited by zee_aladdin (edited July 18, 2005).] | |
