Hi all,
This product is just released and available on Amazon.com.
Problem this DVD is a DVD-R
Why can't they use a DVD Media that can be used on any DVD player?
THIS IS ANNOYING!
Andy
--------------------------------------------
Also I was told that DVD-R is outdated.
The manufacturer must have gotten big discount for them. Why not just use DVD+R to make it esier for us comsumers.
--------------------------------------------
This DVD-R will not play on a standard DVD player. It contains Windows Media Video High Definition (WMVHD) content. View WMVHD content on a Windows PC (3GHz or faster recommended) with Windows Media Player for the true HD experience of 720p and stereo sound.

Product Description

Indeed that sounds stupid- not that I care much, I don't have a DVD player, except on this thing called a PC but even then it's not code-free(thanks, Dell), so I'm limited to 5 DVD zone 1 lectures (well, I haven't looked into software that could hack the bloody thing- the PC is already a nuisance all by itself- sorry guys, a hell of a day today) and the thing goes dead.....

There is a nifty programm, fully legal, called "anyDVD" which allows you to watch any DVD without modifying your PC DVD rom.

PS Robert:I hope it is OK to post this info, please edit if necessary.
