I think these crews are hard to get crew signed photos. Do you agree? I have seen one STS-116, very few 115's and yet to see a 117. Why are these crews hard to get? |

I had no problem obtaining STS-115 and STS-117 autographed crew photos. I have had no luck with STS-116. It does seem that autographed crew photos are getting a little tougher than in past years. |

Do you guys request a signed crew photo the same way you request an individual signed photo from the JSC astronaut office? They usually just send me autopenned copies. |

I got lucky with the 115 crew and have both a regular crew photo and a training crew photo signed by the crew. But I've had no luck so far at all with the 116, 117, 118 or 125 crews. |

Did you send your photos to one of the astronauts to have them signed by the entire crew or did you just request signed crew pics?

I usually send my own photos, especially of the more recent crews since I can download the crew photos. With my 115 successes the crew photo was sent to Joe Tanner and the training photo to Steve MacLean. In both cases when the photo came back it was signed by the whole crew. The crew for STS-115 was in training for a long time though, and both of my photos were obtained before the flight even happened. I usually write to 2 or 3 of the crew members several months before the flight in hopes of getting a completed crew photo. Since my success with 115 though, any of the crew photos that I've gotten back have just been signed by the person I sent it to. Though late last year I did write to Rex Walheim and sent an in-flight STS-110 crew photo signed by one other of the crew and it came back signed by all but one of them, this being over four years after the flight. A lot of it is just luck and timing. |

Does anyone know if there were autopenned STS-116 crew photos with all of their "signatures" on it?

Just checking in to see how people are doing with the recent crews (let's say the last five missions). Rank the order of easy to hard. |
