nasamad Member Posts: 2121 From: Essex, UK Registered: Jul 2001	posted 03-31-2011 03:57 PM I am by no means any kind of authority on autographs or autopens, but I have noticed that it seems like early on in their astronaut careers, the astronauts seemed to use more formal versions of their signatures. I'm guessing that the more that they were asked to sign items, the simpler their signatures became. This could account for the John L Swigert Jr autopen pattern.
