I am thinking of getting an earthrise photo signed by Frank Borman at the forthcoming Novaspace signing possibly with a view to getting Jim Lovell to add a signature to it if he comes back to the UK to do an Autographica or similar event.
My question is though, is adding Jim Lovell's signature to an Apollo 8 item signed by Frank Borman counted as a crew completion and therefore subject to a completion fee? Technically it is a Gemini 7 completion but does the fact it is on an Apollo 8 item make any difference?

Paul I've got a poster size Earthrise signed by Borman and Lovell. I haven't framed it yet HOPING one day I can get that 3rd signature on it (more chance of west ham winning the prem ).
How long I have to leave it in the tube? Who knows... So technically it a incomplete Apollo VIII.

Paul, the answer is "it shouldn't do" as it IS Apollo 8 as you say, and will not be complete without Anders.
However you never know. In person Lovell seems to "flex" his rules. I had him sign a Swigert signed litho which he insisted I paid the completion fee for as I "could get Freddo to complete it." I still regret submitting to this venality.
