The Astronaut Scholarship Foundation (ASF) will continue its popular Astronaut Autograph Club (AAC) in 2010. There were reports earlier that the 2009 edition would be the last.An email from the Foundation reveals that some of the signers will be Eileen Collins, Jim Wetherbee, Rusty Schweickart, Al Worden and Dee O'Hara RN. The ASF, founded by the Mercury Astronauts, gives $10,000 scholarships to college students in engineering and science. In my opinion it is a great organization that does a lot of good -- it deserves support. The AAC is a good way to help ASF and supporters get some nice signed pictures. |
