I would like to get Leonov and Kubasov to sign an Apollo Soyuz Test
Project photo. It's already signed by Stafford, Brand and Slayton.
Should I send it to one cosmonaut via Space City, wait for a reply
and then send it to the other??
I've heard it's best to reach Leonov at his bank? Any word on that?
Anyone have an address?
Please help me with any information available. It would be greatly appreciated. |

Both Leonov and Kubasov are scheduled to attend the UACC Autograph Show in San Antonio, Texas, August 12-13 of this year. Considering that your photo is already signed by the U.S. crew, rather than risk it getting lost or damaged in the mail, you may want to consider attending the show or asking for the assistance of someone planning to attend to have it signed there. I would disadvise sending the signed photo to Russia, and lend my support to Robert's suggestion. While Kubasov has a fairly good signing record, Leonov is quite sporadic in his replies. No mail has returned from "his" bank in recent times. I have not seen much mail come out of Star City this year either, and I am beginning to worry about their services. ------------------

FOR BOTH DAYS OR FIND THEM AT THE BAR!!!! |

I would imagine the bar could be interesting on that Saturday night. Maybe not the best place to ask for an autograph though. LOL!!
Any idea of what they'll charge for an autograph? |

Barnum-Although not Leonov or Kubasov, one Wally Schirra will probably show up at the bar after the show closes. He did at last year's show in NJ. And you are right - not the place to ask for an auto. Just sit back and let yourself bask in Schirra stories around the bar table! The experience of a lifetime!!! |

I had reached out to Leonov about two years ago using the contact information included in Robert's post. As of today's mail, I have not been a lucky recipient. However, I continue to wait for my chance to post a "today's success" topic.I would vote for sharing a cocktail in person in San Antonio. Good luck. Dan |

Dan- Be patient. I have received cosmonaut autograph requests back from 3-5 years after sending them. I think you will agree the results are worth the wait.
