HelloThis morning, my 14 years old daughter call me from France to annonce me she receipt a ''big'' letter from Mike Melvill. She start his collection and it's his 2nd success after John Glenn (signed his book for her).
Mike Melvill sent her a signed photo of SpaceShipOne during Space flight, and the 2 photos taken by my daughter in June at Mojave Airport (we were here). And a little note indicating her he will send him later signed photo of him and others pilots team. She wrote him August 2th and receipt today. I am terribly ''jealous'' because I'm still waiting my request from him to my US adress. A great man... Olivier

I received a Flight International Magazine, which I sent him after @ 2 weeks, not only signed, added date of flight and altitude reached. So far he's great to us collctors! |

I just sent my stuff to Scaled Composites. I did a collage of images I downloaded from the Scaled Composites site, making it graphically pleasing as well as adding floating M&Ms. I sent a copy for Mike to have along with the one I wanted signed and he returned the signed copy in one week. |

Guys, I got my reply from Mike Melvill today.
15 days for the return to the UK. Signed my pictute of him receiving his wings and an index card. Used the address on their website. Regards ..... Eddie H |

Hi,
I can only give a big praise to Mike Melvill. I sent four photos, and he signed them all, adding altitude, date of flight and a personal inscription and best of all, he had his three comrades sign the group picture as well. It took three weeks only to receive all back here in Germany. Really a nice guy!

I just got my 2 covers back this week from Mike Melvill and his fellow pilots.What a neat project and adventure. A challenge that will be met. My best wishes to Scaled Composites. |
