Today has been a VERY GOOD DAY!! I learned from Vance Brand via email that he's signed my ASTP covers (which are currently winging their way back to Scotland). I also received back a nice brown envelope from former NASA Dryden test pilot Bill Dana. Mr Dana signed all 6 items I'd mailed to him and he also sent me an inscribed photograph of him with the X-15. Mr Dana also took time to write me a letter full of very kind words and to him I am eternally grateful.Also this week a few other items have arrived including an Al Shepard signed cover (purchased from Randy Constantin), a Ron Evans WSS NASA litho and a multi-signed photograph of the moon taken during the Apollo 15 mission. This photograph was signed by Tom Stafford, Ed Mitchell, Dave Scott, Al Worden and Charlie Duke at the recent Air and Space show http://www.airandspaceshow.com . I purchased the photograph from none other than my favorite "Uncle Al" who was most kind to then send the photograph to Dick Gordon for him to add his signature.
