Does anyone have any experience with Vance Brand signing the Bishop ASTP print? I'm not familiar with the reason why he didn't sign it in the first place. |

With regards to his not signing the print at the time of issue, Brand did not retire from NASA until January 2008 and as a civil servant he could not take part in a commercial signing. |

I was going to get him to sign my print last year but I did not bring a pencil. He told me no problem in signing but it is $100 for a crew completion. I am taking mine this year to get signed. |

On Congress ASE 2009 Prague, Czech Republic, request much my colleagues of his autograph also. He venerable mister, abhorred narrowly of each of who behind him came. I don't know of no from colleagues who'd here on ASE got his autograph. |

Can someone tell me the reason that Vance Brand did not sign the George Bishop Apollo Soyuz print? I thought I read somewhere he was still working for NASA and was not allowed. I could be wrong. Could someone shed some light? Editor's note: Threads merged. |

I love your English, Daniel.Indeed Vance Brand seems to suffer from a health problem that prevents him from signing on many occasions. While being a good signer through the mail for many years, he is now also refusing requests through the mail. The only opportunity might be to catch him on one of the few autograph shows Brand is still attending. |
