Half a century ago this week, the Apollo 11 Lunar Module (LM-5) had its landing gear installed in the Kennedy Space Center's Manned Spacecraft Operations Building. After that it was moved to Integrated Test Stand No. 1 for mating with its Spacecraft/LM Adapter (SLA).
