STS-26 crewmembers jog at JSC while on a break from flight simulations in July 1988. Pictured, left to right, are mission specialist Pinky Nelson, pilot Dick Covey and commander Rick Hauck.

As a runner living in Houston, and judging from the lack of visible sweat on the shirts in July, this one is definitely a staged photo-op.

As pilots and astronauts with the 'right stuff,' I guess the phrase 'never let them see you sweat' applies here

Dick Covey looked like a long-distance runner.

The NASA "P.E. uniforms" are quaint, aren't they? Love the two stripe gym socks -- you just don't see those anymore.

Good pic of the STS-26 crew out running. I'm not sure if there a pic of the STS-1 crew out running with Vice President George Bush.

Here is the STS-1 crew jogging at KSC with the Vice President in 1981.

Frank Borman can be seen in photo 68-H-1317 jogging around KSC a few days before the Apollo 8 launch. Here is some film footage of Borman running near the Headquarters Building in the KSC Industrial Area. It looks like it was taken at the same time.
