Forty years ago this week, the Apollo 10 crew visited their waiting Saturn 5 at launch pad 39B. They inspected the slidewire escape system and the underground “rubber room” where they could take shelter in case of an emergency. Left to right are Tom Stafford, Gene Cernan and John Young.

I love the angle of this shot Ed. From the smiles on the Apollo 10 crew, it looks like they enjoyed it too.
