I believe the the original LC39A/B shuttle FSS was built from steel components of the old Apollo LUT platform.

It will be interesting to see if some of these same LUT/FSS components may be used on future orion pads?

I believe much of these original steel components have been well worn down by the cape salt-air... but would be nice inclusion from a tradition perspective..
