I was watching CBS Sunday morning today (Dec. 11) and Bill Flanagan gave a tribute piece on John Glenn. In the story he talks about the time he met Glenn and asked him if he had knew Charles Lindbergh? Glenn advised the first time they met was during World War II.
I was wondering if there are any photos of John Glenn and Charles Lindbergh together during World War II?
John Glenn flew F4U Corsairs with VMO 155. Charles Lindbergh flew F4Us with VMF 222 and VMF 216 and also flew P38 Lightnings with the 433rd Fighter Squadron. As a civilian contractor he volunteered to help train pilots to maximize fuel efficacy on long range missions which resulted in 50 combat missions on his part. He also toured with other Pacific based squadrons giving lectures on fuel economy.
I was just wondering if anyone knew if there was a photo that might exist of the two together?

I attended a talk by Glenn at the National Air and Space Museum in 2012 where he focused on his time as a Marine Corps fighter and test pilot. He spoke about his meeting Lindbergh, but his accompanying photos were of Lindbergh with other Marine pilots.
I would think that if he had one of the two of them together, he would have certainly used that photo for the lecture.
Perhaps one might turn up in his papers someday when historians go through them.
