Poking around the internet and I see that Joan Higginbotham has an STS-117 emblem on her pumpkin suit portrait. Was it redone when she got moved to 116? |

That's a good question. Believe the litho was released with that patch, but given NASAs history of photoshopping portraits to reflect newly assigned / changed missions, it wouldn't surprise me if it's been since altered. |

Not according to that link, which is of STS-116 imagery.... Wonder if there are other, similar portraits where crewmembers switched missions (aside from Jarvis?) |

NASA often uses one portrait (with one patch) for astronauts assigned to more than one mission.Though the image on the Human Spaceflight Gallery in this instance mirrors the printed litho, NASA has been known to change the printed version to either alter or update the suit patch. Read Cady Coleman and Dan Burbank to nominate just two examples. I don't know whether it was done for Joan Higginbotham. |
