Wellness Brands release
NASA Space Shuttle Pilot with The Right Stuff Joins Board of Wellness Brands, Inc

On Space Shuttle Endeavour in 1995, Pilot Bill Gregory continuously pedaled during one complete orbit around earth allowing him to claim the title as the first person to circumnavigate the globe on a bicycle - and in just 90 minutes. NASA-patented electrolyte drink additive - The Right Stuff® has added Bill Gregory, former astronaut and accomplished triathlete, to its Board of Advisors to help support the growth of the NASA-technology-based business.

The man who bicycled around the world in just 90 minutes, Bill Gregory, former astronaut and accomplished triathlete, has joined the Board of Advisors at Wellness Brands, Inc., makers of The Right Stuff electrolyte drink additive. Bill brings his tremendous practical and scientific knowledge about health and athletics, having tested them in the most extreme conditions — both on earth and in space — to help the continued development of brands built around the NASA-patented technology.

Mr. Gregory established a new mission duration record of nearly 17 days while aboard the Space Shuttle Endeavour in 1995. It was on this flight that he continuously pedaled during one complete orbit around earth — allowing him to claim he was the first person to circumnavigate the planet on a bike — and in just 90 minutes.

Bill actively participates in distance running, bicycling, triathlons, and skiing. His career as an athlete culminated in him completing the Ironman Triathlon World Championship in 1997 in Kona and the World Short-Course Championships as a member of Team USA in 2002.

"I figure I know as much about hydration and performance as almost anyone, having tested my own limits in the widest range of situations. I personally have found The Right Stuff delivers the performance I demand and, with all I've experienced, I've learned to be pretty demanding."

In 2009, Boulder-based Wellness Brands Inc. was granted the exclusive license by NASA to their patented hydration technology and introduced it under the name: The Right Stuff(R). David Belaga, the company's President/CEO, built the Wellness Brands' business around the NASA patent. "As is typical, NASA put their scientists on developing a superior product, in this case to fight the ravages of dehydration," Belaga says. "NASA tested a broad array of sports drink formulas including many on the market as well as custom formulas specifically created by NASA before finally settling on this optimal, patented electrolyte blend that does a superior job at fighting the symptoms of dehydration and increases athletic endurance more than any other formula tested; It is clearly not just another sports drink".
