According to their lobby registrations, retired astronauts Daniel Barry, Franklin Chang-Diaz, Thomas Jones, retired Marine Maj. Gen. Charles Bolden, retired Navy Capt. Daniel Bursch and retired Air Force Col. John Blaha will help ATK Thiokol "with an education campaign on the design considerations of the next generation NASA launch vehicles, in particular the shuttle-derived concepts through visits with members of Congress and other key decision makers."
Chang-Diaz is still listed on JSC's active astronaut list, though there have been rumors of his retirement on- and off-line.

Former astronaut Dr. Franklin Chank-Diaz spoke at the Jamestown Theatre in Williamsburg, Virginia this past Tuesday evening. The seven shuttle flight veteran spoke about how exploration of space today is similar in concept to the exploration od the colonies 400 years ago. Dr. Chang-Diaz discussed proposals for commercial flights in low Earth orbit. He also showed videos of proposed plasma propelled spacecraft to the moon and to Mars as well as how plasma propulsion is accomplished. I enjoyed the evening.
