JSC Engineering Director Steve Altemus announced today that astronaut Nancy Currie (STS-57, STS-70, STS-88, STS-109) is the new Engineering Directorate Deputy Director. Currie's appointment is effective immediately.

Altemus was promoted from Deputy when STS-114 astronaut Charles Camarda was fired and then subsequently reassigned in June 2006.
