Edward T. Schneider, John E. Allavie and Maj.Gen. Wilbert D. Pearson are three space-related pilots to be inducted to Aerospace Walk of Honor in Lancaster this year.

Ed Schneider is former NASA DFRC Chief Test Pilot and JSC Flight Ops instructor and research pilot.

Jack Allavie was USAF pilot assigned to X-15 program and he flew round 60 missions in the B-52 as launch pilot.

Doug Pearson commanded the F-15 anti-satellite Combined Test Force (of 6512th Test Squadron, Edwards AFB) during the time of peak flight activity and, while flying an F-15 'Celestial Eagle', launched the first ASAT (Air-Launched Anti-Satellite Missile) which successfully intercepted and destroyed Solwind P78-1 satellite in earth orbit.

Other inductees are Richard G. Thomas (test pilot for Beech, Boeing and Northrop Grumman companies) and early USAF test pilot Maj. Wallace A. Lien.
