Just saw this up on the Novaspace site. No details yet, but I'm glad this signing is coming up!

I just got the e-mail about this. I hope the stuff I submitted at Spacefest 2007 last August will get signed there.

Isn't the $150 base price significantly higher than it was at the last signing?

In 2005 the fee's were:

Base - $95
Completions - $115

There was also a charge of $10 per mission, the 2008 flat fee includes one mission inscription.

Don't forget my custom Frank Borman WSS litho is available for this signing (just select the print from Novaspace's photos and prints page when ordering).

As a reminder, the image is designed to look as much as possible like a genuine vintage NASA litho and has been professionally printed using digital offset technology on high quality cardstock (300g/m2). It's not a glossy photo.

It is not available anywhere else, and I don't sell copies myself.

Does anyone know exactly when the Borman signing is taking place as it seems my card has not yet been charged?

Cheers, Derek

Whenever I send a book to Kim for a signing, I always think "SIXTEEN DOLLARS FOR SHIPPING!!????"

Then the package arrives and I say -- "Oh, yeah." Worth every penny. And as soon as my team of demolition experts gets it open I'm sure I'll be happy with what's inside.

In the 10 years I've done business with them, those fine Novaspace folks have been sending heavily armored packages that are damned near impossible to open. Bless them.

The first man to command a flight to the Moon smiled up at me from behind layers of polycarbonate yesterday.

My items arrived yesterday. I am REALLY happy with the quality and placement of the inscription on my BS litho. Couldn't ask for any better!

Cheers, Derek
