Had the call for the banquet seating arrangements this afternoon - stay by the phones - Nolan's making the calls as I type!

Cheers

You know you're over the top if you responded "yea Deke, I'd like to come to Houston"

I just got the call too. Looks like Miranda and I will be seated with Buzz Aldrin. I was hoping that Miranda would be able to set next to him but those seats were already taken.

Miranda will turn 13 the day before the Saturday evening banquet. I think she is going to enjoy her birthday and I know we are going to enjoy our time in San Antonio.

Mike-

Similar to Jay's question are you a platinum or gold pass holder? Just want to get a sense of where things are in the process.

Thanks,

Rob

Gold passes. I think we were about 6th and 7th on Gold passes.

Spoke to Nolan a little while ago. Seems as though he is getting through his list.

Looking forward to it.

Hello Everyone,

Just to let you all know that there were only 10 platinum passes issued, so they won't bite too deeply into the seating options for everyone else. I'm sure many of you will get your choices, particularly if you're toward the top end of the gold pass list. Remember though, some of our astronauts bring one or two guests of their own which of course cuts into the number of seats remaining at their tables. It's for this reason we always encourage you to reserve your tickets as early as possible. Still, think there are enough impressive "Out Of This World" guests to keep mostly everyone happy

I got the call from Nolan last night and got my first choice,Gene Kranz. I am happy.

When he called me last night, I was told that Cernan and Aldrin's tables had already been filled.

I am a gold pass holder.

Good luck everyone!

Just got the call. Nolan is working through the list. I am about the middle of the gold pass group, and got my first choice, Dave Scott. I think he said three or four tables are filled: Aldrin, Cernan, Kranz and the last escapes me, sorry.

We got the call; went to our 2nd choice, Scott Carpenter. First choice was Tereshkova, whose table apparently filled up immediately also. We're looking forward to it.

I couldn't resist sitting with Dick Gordon again this year. We had way too many laughs last year.

Tracy, I seriously considered sitting at Richard Gordon's table again myself. As you said, it was so much fun last year. But I decided to listen to Wally Schirra's stories this year, you know, get a little balance in my life. Enjoy!

I sat with Wally at the DC show. When Bill Dana joined the crowd, it was tough to keep food in your mouth.

Actually, any seat that anyone takes is a GOOD seat.
