Is it me or is lot# 52105 - Lunar Module Flown New Mexico First day cover questionable?Having had many personal signings with Ed Mitchell over the years that writing and signature just does not look good to me? Any opinions? Do we know if it was listed in his PPK? |

Lot #52053: Apollo 11 Lunar Module Flown LM G and N Dictionary Lunar Module Landing Sequence PagesI have to say this just takes my breath away. Reading Aldrin's letter reviewing the landing sequence as it relates to these pages, glancing to the actual procedures... incredible! With a little imagination my heart is pounding as if I am right there with them.

I don't see any red flags with these signatures. I believe they are all authentic. |

One nice thing about this upcoming Heritage Auction is that they have included many lots in the back half of the catalog that are better suited for collectors on a budget. While the premium, flown items in the front of the catalog attract most of the attention, they are out of reach of many of our budgets. A lot of the items in the second half of the auction have a starting bid of $1. There are a lot of nice signed photos there... nothing earth-shattering, but good material that most of us can afford. |

I agree Mark. Some very attractive and (hopefully) affordable pieces for us poor collectors. And since there is no hidden reserve on Heritage auctions, you will know if you actually won something before bidding on the next item. |

I believe it was $30,000 including the buyer's premium. That was for lot 52059 in the latest sale. |
