For anyone interested in the oldest space exploration, also included in this sale are art objects and artifacts from the 18th century, relating to the first years of flight via ballooning. They include Montgolfier and Tissandier manuscripts, fans, snuff boxes, miniatures, also prints, barographs and the like. Lots run from 1993-2023, Wednesday Nov. 26 (day before Thanksgiving). Catalog in German at link below, Babelfish has a website which can offer translation - of the auction staff.

This material is ours, which we have culled from our collection in order to focus on the library.

One lot also includes the Steve Fossett private post (unflown) of which there are 12 covers, and an uncut sheet of the labels. If anyone has questions on any items, we'll be pleased to answer as best we can.

Lot realized 75000 SfR, about 95000 with buyers's premium, that's about 60000 Euro or 75000 US-$.

Pretty amazing result!
