Fellow Collectors:As you are aware, the crash of the eBay servers on Oct 21 caused Aurora to have to reformat our auction and move almost all lots from Day 1 (Oct 21) to Day 2 (Oct 22) and to move over 850 lots from Day 2 to Day 3, which sale was conducted on Oct 28, 2006. By now the eBay buyers will have received a preliminary invoice for lots which they won. Preliminary invoices for the mail and left bids are being sent and emailed tomorrow. If you have not already done so, once you receive your electronic or hard copy invoice, you should confirm your shipping address to us (you only need to do this once for all three days of the sale).
We normally pull and pack lots won for each bidder for both Days 1 and 2 and combine the lots for both days while packing to provide the most economical shipping charges to our buyers. We are currently in the process of verifying shipping addresses and calculating shipping charges for all three days of the sale and within a week you will be receiving final invoices that include shipping charges for payment; payment instructions will be on those invoices. Please be advised that there is no way for us to combine the eBay and/or mail/fax invoices for all three days into one invoice - the eBay system does not allow us to do this.
We appreciate your participation in our auction and your patience as we calculate your final invoice totals.
Best regards,
Victoria Campbell
