Any idea if NASA or Johns Hopkins University published photos taken by the Far-ultraviolet Off Rowland-Circle for Imaging and Spectroscopy (FORTIS) telescope... if any were taken? Successful Launch of FORTIS on May 11NASA successfully launched the Far-ultraviolet Off Rowland-Circle for Imaging and Spectroscopy (FORTIS) experiment at 1 a.m. EDT, May 11, from the White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico. Science data was obtained and an assessment of the data is underway. The payload was recovered. FORTIS was launched on a NASA Black Brant IX sounding rocket and flew to an altitude of approximately 174 miles. | |
